These are spirit beings closely related to the Genies. They are the messengers used by the Gods of Good. They rarely allow mortals to see them and remain invisible whilst aiding the mortal in a variety of subtle ways. Mortals regard the aid as Good luck without knowing that the actions of a Suma have aided his or her path. This does not mean that all Good luck is due to Sumas, however. Far from it, for their visits to the Earthly Plane are rare indeed. It is thought that Atlan created the Suma.
