Netscape 1.1 mode? Are you expecting flash backgrounds, tables aplenty and the like? You fashion victim. You shouldn't need anything more than Lynx to access these pages. Spurious pictures just slow the Internet down and add nothing to the quality of the page. There is no need for a background and pictures randomly dotted about add nothing. Look at the text itself, not flashy presentation. Now tables and pictures are very useful in their place but home pages are meant to be designed for the lowest common denominator, and if you're expecting flash stuff you'll be sorely disappointed. Now go away and be realistic, sensible and practical.
